Step 1: Submission of Nomination Form If you would like to nominate a business, person or organization, (must be a member of the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce) please complete a Nomination Form. (Please feel free to nominate your own business, after all...who knows what you do, better than you)
The Nomination Form is a straight forward one-page form to be completed by the nominator and it must be signed by both the Nominator and the Nominee.
Deadline for submission is Thursday, June 24, 2010
Step 2: Submission of Business Profile and Statement of Nomination Once a business/organization has been nominated, the Chamber Business Committee will issue a nomination package to that business/organization. This package will include an outline of what your business profile should include, as well as a detailed description of what criteria is being used to judge your particular category of nomination.
The nominated business/organization will then be asked to submit a Business Profile and a Statement of Nomination, in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the nomination package.
Deadline for submission is Friday, August 27, 2010
Step 3: Reviewing and Scoring by Selection Committee All complete submissions received on or before the deadline date will be forwarded to the selection committee for review and scoring, based on the criteria stipulated in the Nomination Submission Package.
Step 4: Finalist Recognition All nomination finalists will be recognized at the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce Excellence In Business Awards Banquet. Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
Please come out and help the Chamber applaud the many star companies of the Summerside Business Area. Various achievement awards will be awarded to recognize those member companies who have excelled in each given category.

- Companies may not apply to compete in any more than one award category.
- Nominees must be members in good standing of the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce.
- Tapes, videos or other unsolicited information will not be accepted.
