Should a membership resignation be necessary, the Board of Trade Act states that any member may do so, at any time, upon giving to the Secretary ten days notice in writing, of such intent, and upon discharging any lawful liability which standing upon the books of the Corporation against said member at the time of such notice.

The Connection
Promotional Opportunity for New Members!

What is The Connection?

It is a bimonthly publication produced by the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce that runs as a special insert every two months in the Journal Pioneer. The Connection typically runs the third Saturday of the month in February, April, June, August, October and December. Each Connection typically includes the announcement of new Chamber members.

New Chamber members are invited to submit a photo and some brief information about their business/organization for potential inclusion in an upcoming issue of The Connection.

Photo specifications:

• Photo should be a digital raw image and as large a file size as possible - size of 1-5 MB is ideal.
• Photo should be an action shot to demonstrate what your business is all about. Ex. If you run a car shop, show someone fixing a car - not standing in front of a sign. If you run a store, show someone waiting on a customer. Don’t be afraid to get creative. Action or creative photos are more likely to run.
• Photos should typically feature one to three people rather than a large group.
• As with any submitted photo, quality standards must be met for publication and not all photos will necessarily run.

Please note your submission is not intended to be an advertisement, but information for Journal readers and Chamber members. Saying you sell shoes is information. Saying you sell the best shoes in town is an advertisement and will get edited out.
